VGA Splitter over CAT5 cabling
DisplayIt Micro is a VGA Splitter that helps you bulding up a Digital Signage Network. Images or videos from a computer can be displayed via CAT5 cabling on Plasma or LCD monitors in a shopping mall, conference room, airport, store or any other place where digital advertising is required. The two main issues of this VGA Splitter system are to display information and to help building brand awareness. As most of the brand decisions are made at the point of purchase, digital posters are critical in building brand awareness. A digital sign is more flexible, easy to change and can be animated to increase the emotional purchase effect. By increasing the brand awareness you increase the Return on Investments at the Point of Purchase.
How it works
DisplayIt is composed of a transmitter and a receiver unit. The transmitter unit is connected to the HD15 video port at the computer and the receiver unit to the HD15 port of the remote monitor. Both units are connected through CAT 5 / 6 cables up to 125m. If more than two monitors are needed, a cascadable 8 Port Line Splitter can be connected. The receiver is available as a dual receiver version to connect two monitors to one receiver to save cost and reduce cabling.
