How It Works

Switch between computers using the hot-key commands, front panel control button or RS232 port. ServeView Pro allows simultaneous and automatic booting and operation without a keyboard or mouse connection ensuring problem-free operation of all your computers. The emulation is constant on all ports, preventing lockups during switching and periods of inactivity.

Versions

Three chassis sizes come in different port capacities to suit your requirements:
Mini (A) - Ultra compact in a 1U case; 2 or 4 ports.
Slim (B) - Low profile; 8 ports in a 1U case, internal power supply
High (C) - 4, 8, 12 or 16 ports in a 2U case, internal power supply

All three sizes are available in two versions:
Standard - for PCs and UNIX (including HP 9000, SGI, DEC Alpha, RS/6000)
Enhanced - for mixed-platforms: PC, Unix, Sun and Mac

Compatibility

The ServeView Pro is operating system independent allowing for use on a variety of operating systems including DOS, Unix, Novell Netware, Windows 95/98/NT/2000, Linux and more. Enhanced models are compatible with a mixture of Sun, Mac, Unix and PC operating systems.
