Basic Rack PDUs distribute power reliably to all rack hardware
The Basic Rack PDU (power distribution unit) ensures that power is supplied to your servers and other active components in the racks of your data centre. The PDUs are available with 4, 8, 10, 12, 16 or more ports and, depending on the model, are equipped with functions to sequentially boot and/or reboot (power on/off) the connected hardware. The outlet strips are available in 10A, 12A, 16A, 20A or 32A versions. With some PDUs, every individual power port or port groups can be accessed via TCP/IP, a Telnet session, SNMP or an external modem. In the event of a network failure, access is provided out-of-band via a serial interface or a modem integrated into the PDU (depending on the model). Proprietary user interfaces or Web-based operating interfaces are available to monitor and remotely administer the PDUs and the connected IT devices. Plug-ins are used to integrate several versions into a comprehensive power management, DCIM (Data Centre Infrastructure Management) or BMS (Building Management System) solution. We work with renowned manufacturers such as Avocent (Cycylades)/Emerson, Dataprobe, Digi, Geist, Raritan and Server Technology to ensure that we can offer you the best possible customised solution to meet your individual needs in the PDU sector as well.
