CAT5 - UTP - Monitor Splitter
This Galaxy is a modular CAT5 display system to present full motion video (Digital Signage), photo-realistic graphics, text etc. from one computer to multiple monitors. The Galaxy product range allows a flexible upgrade path in line with your business/technical/budget needs. The monitors can be installed up to 300m away from the PC, and the system can be daisy chained allowing distances of up to 1000m to be achieved.
A powerful monitor image broadcast system
The Galaxy system allows video distribution from a single computer to hundreds of monitors. The base unit functions as a transmitter or repeater for the video image. Video equalisation and skew compensation allows for video distribution over longer distances without loss of signals. Thanks to the modular design, it is a very flexible system allowing various combinations of driving/splitting the video signal according to your needs. The maximum distance between transmitter and receiver is 300m. Longer distances can be reached with the use of repeater units. The standard system supports monitors, with a version available for audio support, is operating system independent and resistant against electric or magnetic interference.
